Blueberry muffins

All the meetings this week have thrown our regular schedule off and we´ve been having late nights, late mornings, late naps, etc. However, that little disarray served a wonderful purpose this morning. For the first time in months, and months, and months, I was able to actually open my eyes before any other member of this little family.

That led the way for blueberry muffins to be made before they were downstairs and even earned me a "Mami, you´re the best for making these!" from Elena (then again, who can go wrong with blueberry muffins?).

So it was a happy, although late, morning in this home!

P.S. Thank you all for your encouraging comments on my last post... yeah... this pregnant woman is going through some hormonal ups and downs! Thanks for your love and understanding!

about your last "frump" post....first i historically make "fat" jokes to friends who are usually skinnier than me when they are in their last month of pregnancy-if i really thought you looked fat i wouldn't say it. i know you know i was joking, but i also know how hormones/women/self-esteem can be a recipe for my jokes not being funny ;) My timing is impeccable huh? (no censor on my brain sometimes)

secondly, i think you may be suffering from PDSS it's common among women in your stage of pregnancy in the capital district right now. It stands for
Post-Doctor-Skory-Syndrome...so i have come in his stead to tell you that "you are so tiny and so cute. you have a perfectly sculpted belly and you are the picture of health! you are a super woman....you are beautiful and you are amazing!"

Lastly, i know how you feel frumptacular at home but every time i see you you look great. I am currently frumpified myself so, you are in my club... :)

you are beautiful and i know Ben probably loves when you get all dolled up, but i'm sure he loves you as the woman who is raising his beautiful babies too.
